The Moon Reflected on the Er-quan Spring (Erquan Yingyue) is a score of Erhu music composed by blind folk musician Hua Yanjun, known colloquially as A'Bing, in Wuxi in 1949.
Often known by Westerners as the Chinese violin, the instrument Erhu, which is believed to have originated during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), is deeply rooted in Xinwu district of Wuxi.
Unlike many intangible cultural heritage items in China, the crafting technique of the traditional Chinese instrument erhu in Meicun town, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, has been prospering.
