Turtle Head Islet (Yuantouzhu)

Turtle Head Islet, a crown jewel of Taihu Lake's scenic beauty, also carries profound historical significance in Chinese music. The park's Nie Er Pavilion honors the composer of March of the Volunteers, China's national anthem. Nie Er stayed here in 1934, composing several iconic works.

There is also a stone monument commemorating the Japanese singer Daisaku Ogata's song Mushaku Ryojou at the scenic spot. This ballad captivated Japanese audiences in the 1980s and sold over a million records. It became a cultural bridge between China and Japan, bringing Wuxi's charm to the international stage.

108 Corridor of Taihu Lake

Walking along the serene 108 Corridor of Taihu Lake, the 108-kilometer shoreline of Taihu Lake in Binhu district, you may find yourself humming the tune of Taihu Mei (The Beauty of Taihu Lake). This song celebrates the lake's picturesque landscapes and reflects the deep affection that locals hold for the Taihu Lake.

Wuxi Sunac Resort

In Wuxi Sunac Resort stands the Taihu Show Theater, an architectural masterpiece inspired by bamboo forest. Hailed by The Times as one of the top 10 architectures of the world, it hosted the "My People, My Country" Spring Festival Concert in Feb 2024. This event showcased Wuxi's cultural vibrancy and expressed modern patriotic sentiments.
