Zhao Hongxue

Zhao Hongxue (1870–1915) was an exceptional polymath celebrated for his expertise in painting, calligraphy, musical temperament, guqin (a seven-stringed zither) playing, instrument crafting, photography, and printing. His profound knowledge of Kunqu Opera and guqin, along with his collection of guqin and scores, earned him deep respect among guqin lovers.
