Music lovers can follow the following travel route to explore Wuxi's music landmarks.

Located in the downtown area, the Xiju Opera Art Center, which is built on the site of the former Xiju Opera Museum, is the first stop on the route. Here, Xiju Opera performers, dressed in traditional costumes and heavy makeup, bring to life the intricate tales of Xiju Opera with captivating grace.

The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra perform together at the Wuxi Grand Theatre.

The next stop is the Wuxi Grand Theatre, situated by Lihu Lake, which serves as a key cultural landmark in the city. It regularly hosts performances, including operas, dance dramas, musicals, and symphony concerts, enriching the cultural life of locals.

The next stop is the Wuxi Canal Art Park Concert Hall located at the confluence of the ancient canal and the new canal. As night falls, a harmonious blend of light art and music weaves through this millennia-old site.

After that is the Xiju Opera and Pingtan Art Gallery in Jiangyin, a county-level city in Wuxi. This art space exhibits materials related to Xiju Opera and pingtan (ballad singing in local dialect accompanied by a three-stringed lute known as pipa), including historical items, costumes, and musical instruments.

The final stop is the Poly Grand Theatre in Yixing, a county-level city in Wuxi. This theatre serves as a major cultural center in Yixing and organizes more than 100 performances each year, with average ticket prices of no more than 120 yuan ($16.45), offering endless opportunities for people to experience the local culture.
